Morningside House Family Practice offers a diverse range of services to its patients.
A Receptionist and a Practice Nurse are always available. We provide additional services including: Immigration/Visa Medicals, Employment and various other medicals, Immunisations, Pap Smears, ECG's, removal of small skin lesions.
Dr McEntee provides home visits, hospital visits (for private and Veteran Affairs Gold Card patients) and visits to Boandik Lodge Aged Care Facilities, Nursing Home and Hostel patients.
Dr Kevin McEntee established this solo practice in January 1990, and the practice focuses on the continuity of care for its patients, now numbering more than 3500 - many of whom have grown older with the practice and Dr McEntee!
There is a comprehensive range of visiting and resident specialists providing services in the region.
Morningside House is centrally located and in close proximity to the following paramedical services: Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Psychological services, Pathology (IMVS and Healthscope), Optometrist, Audiology, Podiatry and Radiology.
The air conditioned practice building includes: a consulting room, a treatment room, a patient waiting room, a large reception area, patient file storage room and a large room currently used for storage (but easily adapted for an extra consulting room if required).
There is a large private car park facility at the rear of the practice building, with its own entry/exit vehicle access.
The practice is open from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, with after hours availability for home visits, hospital patient visits (private/Gold Card only) and medical advice, via mobile phone.
Eventually, if a suitable GP was willing to purchase the practice, Dr McEntee would like to continue to work part-time for several years on an ongoing basis.

Support Services in the Area :
Benson Radiology operate radiology services in Mount Gambier in 2 locations.
Currently there are resident in the city, a specialist hospital physician, three general surgeons, two orthopaedic surgeons, two obstetrician/gynaecologists, 3 ophthalmologists and a paediatrician. Regular visiting specialists include an ENT surgeons, psychiatrists, rheumatologist, gastroenterologist, nephrologist, oncologist, cardiologists, and visiting specialists from the Women's and Children's Hospital.
The regional hospital is only about 10 years old and has approximately 85 beds with resident specialist surgeons, physicians, obstetricians, anaesthetists, a paediatrician and an intensive care unit.
The accident and emergency department has resident medical staff, with the full back up of on-call specialists, radiology and pathology services.
Attached to the hospital complex, is a regional training centre for medical students on rotation from the two medical schools in Adelaide, and the full range of paramedical community services including dietetics, occupational therapy, diabetic therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, mental health service, community nursing and an aged care day care centre.
