About the Town :
One of the first things that meets the eye when driving in to Millicent on the Princess Highway from Adelaide is the fleeting image of a massive wind turbine, this turbine forms part of the expanse that is Woakwine range Windfarms, the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Millicent has an “A” Class Gallery, a fantastic living history museum and Lake McIntyre, an artificial wildlife and vegetation reserve created in a disused quarry, a terrific place to have a picnic with the family.
